this home is our homeland is solo pen-and-paper 'map-making' game about intimacy + exploring people's bodies.  it's my humble entry to this year's ace jam + is based on my own personal experience of asexuality. it's about tenderness + intimacy, exploring + being explored by a romantic or platonic partner. note physical elements like scars, freckles + curves, beautiful perfections + imperfections, + share the stories + memories connected to them.

this game contains themes of physical intimacy, body image + the history of bodies,  enduring + overcoming negative experiences connected to the body, experimenting with + accepting sexuality + gender identity, + the emotional vulnerability connected to loving yourself, another person + both of your bodies. these themes + others can be explored to different extremes depending on your own comfort level. be kind to yourself + have fun.

from the beginning of 2023 onwards, i am starting to set prices for my games. accessibility is super important to me so i will continue to offer free versions via community copies to people who don't have cash to splash on new games; i rely on a lot on community copies myself, so i will never force anyone to pay a penny they can't afford.
