These games are about death. This small collection contains two micro-LARPs, both for a single player. They are experimental, thought-provoking and, of course, about death. Denouement focuses on the hopeful final moments before a nuclear apocalypse. The Darkness & the Rot is about the transition of the soul through a mirror into the afterlife. Both deal with different themes, but their subject matter is the same — these games are about death.

Denouement and The Darkness & the Rot were two of the first games that I ever wrote. They are both very short, experimental experiences. Both are single player scenarios and have a collective run time of only 40 minutes, so they are the perfect option if you're looking for a bite-sized game-between-games. 

Each of these games have been individually available for almost two years. As I gradually undertake an itch spring clean, I've decided to bundle them up together into a little collection. As the name suggests, both of the games are about death. One is about finding gentleness and peace in the end of the world, while the other is focuses on self-reflecting on the good and bad in order to find release in death. During this spring clean, I am beginning to charge for all of my games: however, accessibility is super important to me, so community copies will always be available.
